Cynthia/Cynder is the owner of Suite 2 Salon.
She has been a licensed cosmetologist for over thirty-four years. She went to California Cosmetology school in Walnut Creek while in high school. She was trained by a well-known barber in Concord and managed a salon for him in Brentwood as well.
She decided to stay a bit closer to home and worked in a few salons in the Concord and Pleasant Hill area over the years. In 2020 she opened up Suite2Salon where she hand-picked the amazing very talented stylists to join her. Getting the right group was very important.
She loves what she does every day, from children precision cuts to men’s barber clipper styles, to woman’s custom colors and dimensional highlights. She truly believes in educating her clients on products and maintenance for their hair care needs, which helps to maintain the achieved look from the salon chair to their homes. She finds joy in helping others to look and feel their best.

Barbie is born and raised a California girl. She moved to the Bay Area 22 years ago knowing she had outgrown her little, small country town. She has been a hairstylist for 24 years now-specializing in blondes, triple certified in hand-tied extensions and dimensional color. What sets Barbie apart from other stylist is her relatable personality, ability to connect, and extension to detail. Her passion is to help women feel beautiful from the inside-out!
